Who We Are

“We are people transformed by the love and grace of God who are
committed to belonging to a faith community, growing together, and
impacting our World for Jesus.”

Our Vision
To glorify God by pointing people to new and abundant life in Jesus.

Our Mission
To be a place for you to Belong, Grow, and Impact the world for
Jesus.

Belong – Everyone is created to have a meaningful relationship with
God our creator, and others. Through Jesus our relationship that is
broken by sin is restored. In church community we find a place to meet
new people, make lifelong friends, serve together, and have people we
can celebrate our happiest moments with and care for one another in
our lowest moments.

Grow – Northside is not only a place to BELONG, it is also a place to
GROW. We believe that to have the most vibrant relationship with God
we must grow in our relationship with Him. The good work of salvation
Christ started in us is intended to continue, (Phil. 1:6) and that happens
through growth. At Northside we believe that the best way to grow is
to do so together. Even with personal bible study we want people to
have an opportunity to discuss and share how God is teaching them
and working in their lives. Growth in the church was meant to be a
community effort. When we grow together, we glorify God together.

Impact the World for Jesus - Jesus left His church here in the world to
continue the mission of proclaiming the good news of the Kingdom and
ministering to the needs of lost and broken humanity for the purpose
of leading them into a lifesaving relationship with Him. We believe
every Christian can and should be a part of the mission of the church.
We want to help followers of Jesus discover how they have been
uniquely gifted to serve Christ and to give them opportunities to serve
Him and others together.

What are our Priorities?

1. The Priority of God’s Word –
The Bible, God’s inspired word is the first and final authority in all matters of teaching and guidance for the life of believers and the ministry of the church.

2. The Priority of Spirit Leadership and Empowerment –
The church, being made of individual believers united for the purpose of the gospel, is led by the Holy
Spirit who creates unity, gives direction, and empowers believers to accomplish Christ's mission.

3. The Priority of a Caring Community –
As a community of believers, we not only meet to worship and grow together spiritually, but we commit ourselves to loving and caring for one another and those outside our walls.

4. The Priority of Generous Stewardship –
Believing that everything we have is from God, we commit to being generous stewards of our individual blessings through tithes and offerings and our time. And as a church we commit to use the resources of finances and time given by individuals in a way that is accountable, transparent, and advances the Kingdom of God.

5. The Priority of Prayer –
Fellowship with God through prayer is how we communicate our adoration and needs to God, and also seek His encouragement and guidance as we follow and serve Jesus.
